anyone have recent issues with group text/mms on Pixel 2? In the last week or two (can't pinpoint when it started), I've only received 50% of my incoming group texts. This is happening when the sender is using either iphone or android. I contacted customer support and I've now reset my network settings and also force stopped and cleared cache. A couple of days ago, I made the leap from an iPhone and grabbed the Pixel 2. I'm loving everything about it so far, except the messaging system. I'm not able to send group messages. I have MMS and group messaging enabled but it always sends to the people as individual texts. · If there is an icon with multiple gray heads in the corner of the screen (Android) or if the message lists multiple contacts, it is a group text. When responding to a group text, hold your thumb down on the text and select the “respond to sender only” option. In third-party apps, research and learn how to do this option.

Step 3: From the next window, click on "Repair Now" to start the repair process. google really messed up on their messaging app, there are so many basics they just missed on its ridiculous. with my galaxy s5 i was able to add and remove mergers from groups, with pixel you can't do that if you have a 19 member list and need to add someone, u have to go and manually create the whole group again, what a hassle! also with the galaxy s5 i was able to send pictures in group.
2) Have the person delete the entire group text thread. I believe that with an existing group text, the iPhone continues to use iMessage if that is what it used previously without checking if your number is set to Mobile or if your number is valid in iMessage.
